LJ and I have debating buying a chest freezer almost since we got married seven years ago. We like to buy things in bulk and we like to make large batch meals to save for lunches so it made some sense but I could never justify the expense. I finally broke down this year so LJ could stock up on blueberries at the u-pick farm this summer.
It has met our needs well so far and fits nicely in a corner of our apartment. As long as we live in an area where we can buy hundreds of pounds of local berries (or pick them) and get an overwhelming amount of meat from LJ's parents, we will get a lot of use out of this little guy.
